Simulation was the master of the Theatre Dungeon. He is now a librarian of the Fourth Wall.
History[]
Originally designed as a boss with all the power of a constellation, Simulation deteriorated over time, fading into the background and becoming the boss of a hidden scenario. However, he did not lose any of his power, still possessing skills able to overcome even those of a regressor's.[1]
Abilities[]
Personal Skills[]
- Simulacre: A delirium skill, stronger than Phantom Prison. Conjures illusions, often monsters, used to torment a target.[1]
- Mental Erosion: An advanced cognitive manipulation skill. Allows the user to communicate telepathically and exert mind control over a target.[1]
Trivia[]
- The Korean spelling of Simulation's name indicates it is transliterated from French, as the Hangul letters are spoken with the French pronunciation of the word simulation: si-myul-lah-shi-on (시뮬라시옹) instead of si-myul-lay-i-shun (시뮬레이션). The French-transliterated term is used in Korean as a shorthand for the philosophical treatise Simulacres et Simulation, i.e. Simulacra and Simulation, by Jean Baudrillard.
- This is confirmed by the name of Simulation's skill, Simulacre, which uses the Hangul characters 시뮬라크르 (si-myul-la-keu-reu), without the ending M that would be present in an English-to-Korean transliteration.
