The representative's flag is an item used in Main Scenario 4 by the station representatives of Seoul Dome. They symbolize control over a station, and grant different powers depending on their color.
Appearance[]
The representative's flag is a simple piece of cloth attached to a flagpole; the cloth can be detached from the pole.[1] The pole is generally inserted into a flag holder resting in the center of its corresponding station's platform; this "holder" takes the form of a simple groove driven into the flooring of the platform.[2] The color of the flag varies depending on how many stations have been occupied by its holder; it starts as white, cycles through multiple colors, then finishes as black.[3]
Usage and colors[]
The flag marks a station inhabitant as the "representative" for that station, giving them the qualification to walk the King's Road. The representative (and any deputies they appoint by transferring part of their authority[4]) has access to all the powers granted by their flag. The flag can only be carried by the representative; if taken away by another group, that group wins the flag and can absorb its accumulated achievements– however, the group must insert their own flag in the newly obtained station's flag holder, or else the station does not count as truly "occupied". Should the representative die, the flag goes to whoever holds it first.[5]
The flag changes colors as the representative and their group occupy more and more stations. Each successive color grants new, increasingly more powerful abilities to the representative and their deputies.[3]
- White: The initial color of the flag, obtained upon occupying a single station. Designates a representative for a station and grants them control over the station group. Allows them to punish anyone who defies the representative's commands.[5]
- Red: Obtained upon occupying at least 2 stations, including the main base; alternately, obtained by defeating another representative.[6] The more stations occupied, the darker the shade of red. Offers a general increase in strength to the representative and their group. Specifically, has a buff that increases attack and defense by 5%.[3]
- Upon occupying 2 stations, triggers the hidden scenario King's Road for the representative.[4]
- Navy: Obtained upon occupying 5 stations, including the main base. Allows the representative to set up a "group chat"; in other words, they can create a telepathic link between themselves and their group members. The link is impervious to outside telepathic skills, letting them talk freely without fear of being overheard.[7]
- Brown: Obtained upon occupying somewhere between 6–9 stations, including the main base. Allows the representative to place restrictions on the actions of group members, forcing them to obey on pain of death.[8] Also offers a shield effect that can withstand a medium amount of damage.[9]
- Upon occupying 10 stations, the hidden scenario King's Road is achieved and the representative can choose a King attribute.[10]
- Purple: Obtained upon occupying somewhere between 11–19 stations, including the main base. Powers unknown.
- Black: Obtained upon occupying 20 stations, including the main base.[11]
Stations and representatives[]
Stations can be taken over in one of two ways: forcibly occupied (by seizing the flag from the representative, living or dead) or voluntarily transferred (by representatives or deputies). Additionally, representatives controlling multiple stations can transfer control of specific stations to their deputies.
When flags are taken by other representatives, the cumulative achievements of the flag and the stations controlled by the defeated representative are transferred over to the winning representative.
