Persephone, better known by her constellation modifier Queen of the Darkest Spring, is the wife of Hades and queen of the <Underworld>. She is equal to Hades in the <Underworld>.
Appearance[]
Persephone, appearing as Yoo Sangah.
When Kim Dokja first meets her in the Underworld, Persephone appears to him as the grandmother he'd seen on the subway during the first scenario, then as Yoo Sangah in a black qipao, a garter belt, seductive eye makeup, and glistening red lipstick, when he reveals his nature his eyes turn bright yellow.[2]
At the Gourmet Association Festival, she takes the form of Yoo Joonghyuk before changing into the Punisher, wearing a dress that reveals "her" skin through the side, and then finally to Yoo Sangah in a tidy office look.[3]
She once again takes Yoo Sangah's appearance after the Demon King Selection, wearing a qipao and waving a fan; Kim Dokja tells her that he no longer likes garter belts upon seeing her, so it can be assumed she is also wearing a garter belt in this outfit.[4]
Before Gigantomachia begins, she borrows Uriel's appearance, telling Kim Dokja that it’s because she is interested in Eden and because he likes the constellation Demon-like Judge of Fire.[5]
Synopsis[]
Dokja went to the underworld because he wanted to rescue the 41st Shin Yoosung's soul, he arrives in Tartarus but manages to go to the palace of Hades where he finds Persephone having dinner. First she takes on the appearance of the old woman that Dokja could not save in the first scenario but then he chooses to transform into Sangah with seductive clothes.
Constellation Banquet[]
At the constellation banquet Persephone helps protect Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk when the outer gods arrive.
When the group is trying to determine who Kim Dokja loves the most Persephone transforms Yoo Sangah's outfit into a Chinese dress and garter belt to mess with him.
Gourmet Association[]
Persephone invites Kim Dokja to the Gourmet Association. She is intialy in the form of Yoo Joonghyuk and then The Punisher however she changes into Yoo Sangah in her office clothes when Dokja asks her to change. She bets on Yoo Joonghyuk in the Martial Arts Competition. She gets a ride home with Mass Production Maker in his car.[6]

Abilities[]
Persephone can make living creatures freeze in terror and even sometimes die from their fear by simply pointing at them.[7]
Relationships[]
Kim Dokja[]
Persephone loves to tease Dokja and views him as her son, making him the official heir to the Underworld. Her relationship with Dokja is much more amicable than the one he has with his birth mother, however, he often struggles to understand Persephone's intentions and caring actions, not able to understand why she cares so much about him.
Hades[]
Persephone loves her husband and is heartbroken when he dies, however she does not let his death stop her and refuses to stay with him in the 1865th regression even though she misses him.
Dionysus[]
Though Dionysus does not confirm or deny the theories that they are related, he and Persephone are on good terms and he is the only member of Olympus she is willing to work with.
