• The identity of the constellation Mysterious Bird of the Nile is unknown and there are multiple possibilities. Horus is a falcon god whose origin story involves the Nile river. Thoth is an ibis god who was connected to the flooding of the Nile river and Bennu is a heron who was said to have helped create the world. They could also not be a god and instead be a scared ibis or Nile goose which were important in Egyptian mythology.
