Kyrgios Rodgraim is the master of Kim Dokja, the strongest person native to Peace Land, and one of the strongest returnees[9][1] and transcendents. He is the master and sole member of the White Storm school, which practices the famous secret technique, White Pure Star Energy and possesses Electrification.[1] Previously, he was taught by Yoo Hosung on Reincarnation Island.[10] He appears during Main Scenario 6.

Appearance[]

Kyrgios is as handsome as Yoo Joonghyuk.[11][12] He is small enough to be described as a "small doll."[9] He has long azure/turquoise hair.[13][7][8] He has a voice that sounds like a constellation's true voice, despite not being one.

Personality[]

Kyrgios is ruthless and dull to emotions enough to understand everything has an end. He was able to become the strongest person in First Murim despite his stature, and does not tolerate insults, especially ones about his height.[1] He acts angry when he favors someone.[11] He is secretly filled with longing and is possibly a sentimental person.[14][15]

History[]

Peace Land, the manga created by Asuka Ren, wasn't very popular. Before it stopped publishing, she created Kyrgios Rodgraim, a character who was unlike anyone else in her story because of how powerful he was.

According to Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World, Kyrgios was a returnee from a Murim world. Despite being a small person, he managed to master martial arts through hard work and become the most powerful being in the world he was sent to. Tales of his exploits in <First Murim> are as numerous as they are legendary. One example would be how he took the lives of all the worshipers of the evil cult who were taller than him. Or how he cut off the reproductive organ of someone who made fun of his stature. At some point in he and Namgung Minyoung were training as disciples under Yoo Hoseoung, the One Invincible Fist.[16] He and Minyoung were also lovers at some point.[17]

Born mortal, a man who achieved great deeds after constant devotion. A man who refused the position of a constellation, and achieved transcendence against the sky.

He has only accepted two disciples before the events of the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint novel. The first was after his first transcendence, killed by the successor of the Heavenly Demon School. The second was 50 years later, killed by the successor of the Blood Demon School.[18] His third disciple was Kim Dokja.

Synopsis[]

Kyrgios is unable to interfere in the destruction of his original planet due to probability restrictions. He watches in the shadows, and eventually is mentioned by Kim Dokja. Upon questioning, Kim Dokja offers to be under his tutelage and learn his techniques in order to defend his original planet, Peace Land.

TBD

After the events of Peace Land Kyrgios wants to see Dokja again and learns form Brash Swamp Predator at the executive bureau detention center that he is in the Demon Realm. He leaves to find him and ends up at the Hidden Scenario: Kim Dokja Proof of Identity.[3] Kim Dokja pretends that has has been defeated and injured by Breaking the Sky Sword Saint in order to make Krygios go to First Murim to get revenge for him ,where he can help Namgung Minyoung fend off the Outer God.[18]

TBD

Abilities[]

Personal Skills[]

  • Electrification: Also translated as Lightning Human Translation. Allows the user to channel and control extremely powerful brilliant blue-white lightning.
  • Flight: He has demonstrated the ability to hover in the air. However, how he is able to do this and any explicit details are unknown, including whether this is an attribute or skill.[9][19][20]

Techniques[]

Relationships[]

Kim Dokja[]

At first, Kyrgios was constantly angry at Kim Dokja, which meant he liked him[11] and even tried to kill whoever supposedly shamed Kim Dokja enough to want to kill himself (which was eventually revealed as a ruse).[3][18] Kyrgios believed he would come back to Peace Land eventually.[3]While calling Kim Dokja 'crazy disciple' or 'stupid disciple' sometimes, he actually cares quite a lot for him.[13][22]

Namgung Minyoung[]

The two of them grew to have a very good relationship after Kim Dokja manipulated him to save First Murim and therefore Namgung Minyoung. They are seen often working together as a duo, and Kyrgios can even sit on her head[23]. It is suggested that the relationship is so close as to be slightly romantic. For instance, Lee Jihye calls him Grandfather, in reference to her Grand Master Namgung Minyoung.

Trivia[]

  • Kyrgios can play the viola (he is shown playing at the celebration banquet after the scenario). Like everything he does, he is very skilled, able to bring listeners to tears.
  • The name Kyrgios/Kyrios means master or 'small Zeus' in Greek.[24]
