Kim Yongpal was a member of the Pink Kids in the original story, a group of middle-aged men who pretend to be young girls. He is the only pure member of the group, so he was spared of death by Kim Dokja.
Personality[]
Despite being part of a ruthless group, Kim Yongpal is a somewhat naive and pure-hearted person. He is a man in his 40s who, unlike his companions, has never killed anyone before. He managed to survive the dangerous and deadly world of Ways of Survival without resorting to violence, making him stand out among the others in the group.[1]
History[]
In the original "Ways of Survival", Kim Yongpal was the first to die because he was a pure person. He had survived the first scenario by sheer luck because he had stepped on an ant. However, he is not aware of the reasons behind his survival and doesn't understand why he managed to live while others died.[1]
Synopsis[]
He is a member of the infamous group called the Pink Kids, who are known for disguising themselves as young girls to trick and kill other rankers and incarnations in the chaotic world of Ways of Survival.[2] In the Dark Castle Kim Dokja spares his life as Han Sooyoung is about to kill him. He first pretends to be a woman named Seo Inna, but drops the act when Dokja is not fooled.[1] Kim Dokja uses him in order to summon a weak demon from the second floor altar.[3]
During Main Scenario 9 she suggest staying in Paradise and not continuing the scenarios.[4]
Trivia[]
- Reading about him in Ways of Survival, and how he survived by killing an insect, inspired Kim Dokja's methods in Main Scenario 1.
