Ji Eunyu is a character in Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint side story #5. She is Lee Hakhyun's editor under Dragon Management.

Appearance[]

A pretty woman, who is described by Lee Hakhyun as an intellectual beauty with her hair tied neatly back in a refreshing ponytail.[3] In the side story, after a few years have passed, she now wears her hair in a shoulder length bob haircut.[4]

After transmigrating into Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World, she possesses the character Min Jiwon.

Personality[]

Ji Eunyu is a strong-willed person. She refuses to give up on Hakhyun, even when others tell her it'd be better to do so. She knows when Hakhyun needs motivation, and is there to encourage him. She is his harshest critic, but also greatest supporter.

In the ORV side story, when Lee Hakhyun mentioned how every secondary work of ORV will eventually end badly, she answered optimistically that perhaps they will pick up the webtoon again, if the novel does well, referring to the artists that once drew ORV, until disaster struck the studio.

History[]

The first time she met Hakhyun was after the commercial failure of his first webnovel, Orc Philosopher.[3] Ji Eunyu came over to his home, in order to meet him and get him to write again. She told him that web novels are not the "literature" he was used to writing before. From then on, she showed him how to write a webnovel - short sentences, fast pacing, drama, etc. Lee Hakhyun was the only author who dedicated himself to learning all of the "homework" she gave him.[5]

Synopsis[]

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint[]

Her first mention in the novel is in chapter 549. Though she didn't appear, she called Lee Hakhyun over the phone to ask about his writing progress.[6]

Side Story[]

Ji Eunyu first appeared when she called Lee Hakhyun once again. She asked him if he was working on the side stories of ORV. Lee Hakhyun denied it. She sighed, and asked him instead what he wants to write. This time, Lee Hakhyun answered with, "I don't know how to write."

Deep down, she knows that Lee Hakhyun was struggling to write side stories for Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. So, she takes him to the fan event organized by the readers of ORV. The one where "Representative Kim Dokja" invited him to. It was located in Chungmuro, a location once used in ORV.

As the event went on, she and Lee Hakhyun were surprised like the others, when they see a live recording from none other than the "real" author of ORV, Han Sooyoung.[1][2] Following the end of the banquet, she also answered a question about ORV in the quiz and went behind the curtain like the other readers of ORV.
