Synopsis[]
Despite being a low-grade Dokkaebi, he throws his weight around due to being a successful entertainment streamer and owning a big channel in Tokyo Dome. He appeared in Main Scenario 5, interested in how Kim Dokja made Bihyung's channel grow.
He intervened in the Main Scenario and released an SSS grade sub-scenario. He is shown to be sharp-witted as he proclaimed Myung Ilsang to be a 'treasure child' instead of the Disaster that he is, knowing that Incarnations would be more likely to come if they heard of treasures instead of a disaster, increasing the difficulty of the task.
After the sub-scenario was over, he rewarded Kim Dokja publicly but privately invited him to leave Bihyung's channel and join his own. He revealed his plans for developing his channel in Korea and invited Kim Dokja to join him, stating that he'd be willing to agree to Kim Dokja's terms and conditions. After being refused by Kim Dokja, Dokgak threatened to reveal Dokja's and Bihyung's secret contract and end Bihyung's channel. He declared that Bihyung's channel had been illegally manipulating the scenarios and requested for a probability conformity test.[1]
Dokgak announced publicly the various ways Kim Dokja had been cheating the constellations and the scenarios by not killing the targets and ending the scenario earlier and deliberately creating hype. He met Kim Dokja and Bihyung in his official post and asked Dokja to sign the contract[2]. He grew interested in Dokja's proposal of connecting the channels and agreed to Dokja's request of wanting to enter his channel and know the difference between a small channel and a popular streamer. He then came to regret it as Dokja entered the stream and promoted Bihyung's channel. He subsequently lost his powers after many constellations left his channel and was beaten by the now powerful Bihyung.
Trivia[]
- Dokgak having one leg could be a reference to one legged yokai such as Ippon Datara or to or the Chinese one legged crane Bifang. He is also described as looking like a crow which have significance in Japanese myhtology.
