The Star Stream's name for Demon Kings is "Corrupted Constellations".

Kim Dokja became a Demon King, after a strong demonic energy polluted his constellation, thus corrupting him.[1]

Once corrupted, constellations will be categorised as "Evil". Demon Kings are ranked by number, based on how recently they've been made Demon King.

For example, Kim Dokja is the Demon King of the 73rd Demon Realm.

Rankings can change through the demon king promotion, where two Demon Kings battle and the winner receives a higher rank.

Demon Kings are known to possess incarnation bodies, and are often deemed as ‹Absolute Evil›.

Events[]

The Demon King Selection, a Main Scenario specific to the Demon World, grants a giant story to the winner. Constellations are able to appear in incarnation bodies to participate for the scenario.

The Duet between Good and Evil is a hidden scenario, akin to a "awards ceremony", where constellations and select incarnations of the <Absolute Good> or <Absolute Evil> alignment come together to celebrate past achievements. The Grand Prize determines the power status of good and evil; the Fable of the season will give an advantage to whichever side it leans towards.
The Great War of Saints and Demons, also known as the Constellation and Demon War, is the 80th Main Scenario. It was triggered due to Kim Dokja's company's Fable, the Torch that Swallowed the Myth, being determined to be neutral in alignment. Constellations and Demon Kings can participate in Incarnation Bodies.

Absolute Neutral[]

A 'evil' being can't be 'good' as well and vice versa.

This being so, Kim Dok-Ja (a Demon King) and Michael (an Archangel from ‹Eden›), both can transform to their opposite (Kim Dok-Ja's being an Archangel, and Michael's being a Demon King).

Their modifiers also maintain a 'evil' and a 'good' part:

  • "Demon King" - being 'evil' and "Of Salvation" - being 'good'; or
  • "Saviour" - being 'good' and "Of Corruption" - being 'evil'.
