Summary[]
Th freed incarnations are paying attention to Han Sooyoung. She tells them that they should work together instead of fighting over items and that they have a new chance to survive. Dokja recognizes the words of her speech from a quote Yoo Joonghyuk said in Ways of Survival. She claims that those lines are from her own novel and starts running away. Dokja runs after her and catches her, telling her that she owes him for saving her. He asks him to hand over her power bank so he can charge his phone. She says she doesn't have one and lost all her items in Gwanghwamun. Dokja asks her to give him a copy of her novel. She gives him the file and he reads it, finding it's world building and protagonist, Yoo Joonghyun, to be shameless rip offs of Ways of Survival. He confronts her and she denies plagiarizing but says that she read up to chapter 99. Dokja offers to team up with her to deal with the meteorites. He calls out to Bihyung to check on the fire dragon carcass he put up for sale. He gets no reply and wonders if the Seol Dome dokkaebi are having a meeting right now. He opens the dokkaebi bag and finds that the bones and scales he put for sale have been sold. He ponders which incarnations could afford to buy them for that high price.
Dokja offers to make temporary pledge with Han Sooyoung that guarantees that they will not harm or sabotage each other and Han Sooyoung will follow his orders. Sooyoung accepts but says that she gets him three questions she can check with lie detection. She asks him what his attributes are to which Dokja says he doesn't know which is true. She asks why he gave up the Absolute Throne to which he says Seoul would have perished if he sat on it. Finally she asks him what chapter he stopped reading Ways of Survival to which he says he never stopped reading. They move to abandoned building only to run into a humanoid form. When Dokja uses character list it doesn't work and the person appears to be some kind of werewolf monster. The monster is an inhuman species, a person who chose to transform into a monster from the meteorite. Han Sooyoung recognizes the werewolf as someone who read some of Ways of Survival named is song Minwoo who got off at chapter 173. Dokja thinks the name is familiar . Suddenly the werewolf turns to them saying he found them. He gets on all fours and runs at them.
