Beginning of the end (3) is the four hundred ninety-fifth chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.

Summary[]

Lee Gilyoung expresses confusion about the reward of the Main Scenario 99 being the [Final Wall] as he catches up to the others, a sentiment shared by Kim Dokja, who isn't sure whether it means the reward is simply reaching the Final Wall, or ownership of the wall itself. However, Kim Dokja concludes that the truth will be revealed at the end of the scenario either way.

The members of <Kim Dokja's Company> rush forward to destroy the ark, while Secretive Plotter and the other Outer Gods block the Constellations chasing them. More Constellations descend from the sky, including former and current subscribers to Kim Dokja's channel, leading Kim Dokja to realize that Sakyamuni's words about existences growing to love the status quo could apply to more than just the Great War of Constellations and Demons.

As the Japanese constellations the company fought during Peace Land incarnate, Lee Jihye and Yi Sunsin step up to confront them. Surprising Kim Dokja, Asuka Ren sides with <Kim Dokja's Company>, pleading for the fighting to end. She activates her attribute, 'Mangaka', and Kim Dokja reflects on the similarity of Han Sooyoung and Asuka Ren's author-type attributes. The affected incarnations drop their weapons and surrender, ignoring their sponsors' orders to get up. Many constellations are swept away by the firing of Lee Jihye's cannons, though some endure and continue to fight.

Light leaks out faintly from the ark's hull. Kim Dokja observes that they can't afford to let more Myth-grade Constellations awaken from inside the ark, but fortunately, <Kim Dokja's Company> is making good progress towards the ark, though he is worried about the strain of exchanging so many coins into probability for Biyoo. But just before they reach the ark, the Dokkaebi Bureau restricts coin donations to Biyoo's channel, greatly slowing Kim Dokja and his companions, and Biyoo falls from the sky and is caught by Yoo Sangah. In response, Hades, Persephone, and Uriel protest the Bureau's actions.

Because of the backlash in probability, the Great Dokkaebis Horong and Noksu have died, and Garang is injured. Kim Dokja feels a chill run down his back as he realizes the extent of the Great Dokkaebis' determination to stop them.

The latest events have caused the <Star Stream>'s probability to change, leading in turn to the decline in numbers of the Nameless Ones. The Secretive Plotter declares that the Hounds of Tindalos are coming, and the kings of the 999th turn gather in the center, where they are bitten by the appearing hounds. While this happens, Yoo Joonghyuk alerts Kim Dokja to a change in the sky that greatly worries the latter. The Great Dokkaebis Onsae and Heoche also die, and Kim Dokja registers that the Great Dokkaebis are trying to end their stories.

Kim Dokja notices the sky is opening up, then realizes it is actually the Final Wall opening. A gap like a torn page crosses over the gap in the wall, and despite being unable to identify it, Kim Dokja instinctively knows that an unknown object is falling in their direction, and that it will kill them all upon impact. He unleashes all of his Status just before a massive explosion of Probability fills his vision with light.

The scene then shifts to Bihyung, who is watching from the Bureau as the Great Dokkaebis become a part of the final scenario. The Bureau is falling apart as it interferes with the scenario, and dokkaebis of all ranks are rushing around chaotically. Bihyung reflects on his experiences with Kim Dokja, who is about to die. As a Great Dokkaebi, Bihyung knows the falling object is a fragment of delusion from beyond the Wall. The Great Dokkaebis plan to board and escape on the ark, which is getting ready to soar, while the rest of the world will be destroyed.

Bihyung makes a decision, and the other Great Dokkaebis realize what he is planning and protest. Ignoring them, he looks at the incarnations below and then at his hands, reminiscing about the past. Finally, he smiles and unleashes his Status toward the other Great Dokkaebis; Garang's horn, which the Great Dokkaebis were using to abuse the Bureau's power, breaks, and the probability they were controlling instantly dissipates.

Bihyung blocks the fragment of delusion as the Constellations watching add their probability to his own. While the storm of aftermaths tears into him, he continues thinking about how Kim Dokja wouldn't want Bihyung to sacrifice himself; however, Bihyung believes there is no other way. Upon his death, his ■■ is revealed to be 'sacrifice.'[1]
