Episode 10: Chapter 43 - Future War (1) is the forty-third chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
Summary[]
As the third main scenario ends, Kim Dokja orders Lee Jihye to watch over Yoo Joonghyuk until he wakes up. He heads downstairs with Jung Heewon, carrying the sleeping Lee Gilyoung, and notes that all the items in the Theatre Dungeon have turned into simple props. Bihyung contacts him through a private line and confirms that the speech he made, reminding Yoo Joonghyuk of his past, was largely filtered for the constellations. Kim Dokja reminisces on how Yoo Joonghyuk experienced such filtering in the original Ways of Survival, but becomes confused when Bihyung reveals that he himself couldn't hear his words, either. Kim Dokja concludes that excessive filtering was caused by probability, and that the constellations must be extremely curious about him right now.
Kim Dokja ends the conversation, asking for only the messages about coins to be delivered in the future, when Jung Heewon approaches him. After offering to carry Lee Gilyoung, she reveals that she too is curious about the unfiltered words she heard from him. Kim Dokja states that he knows part of the future, and that no one except Jung Heewon knows; upon her fear at being the only one in the know, he assures her he doesn't want to kill her, and that he would actually like her assistance as a companion in future scenarios. She is wary at the sudden offer, but he tells her to take as much time as she wants to decide on her answer, knowing this will allow her to trust him more and eventually join him. She questions him about her role in the future, to which he reveals she doesn't exist in the future he knows, explaining this is why his offer is important for her.
Upon hearing a loud noise from the station platform, they hurry downstairs and find Yoo Sangah and Lee Hyunsung squaring off against the Landlord Alliance. Gong Pildu attempts to fight him, but Bihyung appears at that moment and informs them of an upcoming sub scenario. Bihyung explains that in order to make this process go smoothly, they will elect a representative by having someone capture a flag placed at the center of the platform. Gong Pildu rushes to seize the flag, but Kim Dokja uses their contract's command rights to force him to stop, taking the flag for himself and becoming Chungmuro's representative.[1]
