Episode 9: Chapter 37 - Omniscient Sunfish (1) is the thirty-seventh chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.

Summary[]

The party of four approaches the dungeon that Yoo Joonghyuk entered. Kim Dokja reads Ways of Survival, while Jung Heewon and Lee Jihye converse and realize they are both sword-users, though Jung Heewon is slightly jealous of Jihye's high-quality blade, given to her by Yoo Joonghyuk. Kim Dokja notes that Lee Jihye is snubbing him but easily talking to Jung Heewon, much to the latter's amusement. Lee Jihye asks about Kim Dokja's motivations for going after her master, not believing his claim that they are companions, but accepting it when Kim Dokja says Yoo Joonghyuk is useful. Secretive Plotter wonders about Kim Dokja while Demon-like Judge of Fire is warmed by his desire to rescue a friend.

Kim Dokja thinks to himself that his reasons are less about rescuing Yoo Joonghyuk and more about preventing him from regressing, since even Kim Dokja himself doesn't know what happens to the worlds Yoo Joonghyuk leaves behind. He is afraid of being erased should Yoo Joonghyuk regress. Lee Gilyoung calls for his attention, though, revealing that they have reached the Theatre Dungeon. The party is intrigued, but Kim Dokja knows to be cautious. They notice the torn movie posters on the walls, which Kim Dokja notes are the main focus of the dungeon.

As they move forward, the party grows confused at the lack of events, so Kim Dokja warns them to wait. As they are about to head upstairs, they hear voices of people who mention the "prophets". Kim Dokja is confused, not recognizing the name; the intruders disappear under a spotlight, and as the party steps forward, Kim Dokja notices a single poster remains untorn. He reads the names and is startled upon recognizing it; just then, a spotlight catches the party and they disappear into a "screening".

They regain awareness inside a forest, and Lee Gilyoung quickly calls over what looks like an immense praying mantis. He names it as a Titanoptera from the Triassic period and speaks to it; a few seconds later, he turns to Kim Dokja in alarm, but at the same time they become aware of a giant reptile approaching them, injured men running away from it. Kim Dokja quickly draws his sword and instructs the others to fight, reminding them that they need to get out of the movie, and thinking to himself of the excellent reward that this movie will grant upon completion. As the Tyrannosaurus Rex bears down on them, Kim Dokja gets ready to escape by creating a good ending.[1]
