Episode 8: Chapter 35 - Emergency Defense (3) is the thirty-fifth chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
Summary[]
The Landlord Alliance, now collapsed on floor B3, struggle to recover; a frantic Bihyung demands to know what Kim Dokja thinks he's doing, while the constellations enjoy the chaos. Kim Dokja's party scrambles to join him, having finished smashing the other green zones. Bihyung, still panicking, answers Kim Dokja's questions and tells him Gong Pildu is in the dokkaebi Biryu's channel. Meanwhile, Lee Jihye joins them, confirming that she's destroyed the larger green zones on her own.
Bihyung notifies the incarnations that the constellations of Biryu's channel have requested a bounty scenario asking for Kim Dokja's death. The party immediately moves to protect him but Kim Dokja bids them not to worry, knowing what is to come based on Yoo Joonghyuk's actions from a future round. Monsters begin to flood the station, and as the area devolves into chaos, Kim Dokja and his party hurry to the upper levels, destroying the staircases and trapping the people on the platform. Lee Jihye finds them, distressed at the imminent deaths of the trapped people.
Acknowledging her worry, Kim Dokja uses [Bookmark] to borrow Cheon Inho's [Incite] skill, calling out to Gong Pildu and asking him to save everyone with his stigma. The people are moved, begging the landlord for help. The constellations agree with Kim Dokja's words, and the irate Gong Pildu calls everyone to surround him, needing time to set up his stigma. Yoo Sangah rescues the people who are hurt by the monsters using her own string stigma, pulling them to the upper levels. Kim Dokja notes that the bounty scenario has expired.
Meanwhile, Gong Pildu's stigma finally comes to life, and to the excitement of the people on the platform, he begins to shoot down the attacking monsters. Kim Dokja explains to his party that they cannot go down to help or they will distract Gong Pildu, so the party settles down to wait, with Jung Heewon quickly falling asleep. Yoo Sangah worries about their idleness, but Kim Dokja thinks that Gong Pildu is simply reaping what he sowed.[1]
