Episode 8: Chapter 33 - Emergency Defense (1) is the thirty-third chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
Summary[]
When Lee Hyunsung wakes up, Kim Dokja asks him about his sleeptalking, and they discuss Lee Hyunsung's history in the army. Kim Dokja tells Lee Hyunsung that he finds his presence reassuring, after which he retreats and tells Jung Heewon, Yoo Sangah, and Lee Gilyoung to copy his actions and compliment Lee Hyunsung. Jung Heewon asks curiously about Kim Dokja's skill that lets him read people, and asks whether he has used it on her, to which Kim Dokja responds that he only uses it on men.
The party members compliment Lee Hyunsung, and Kim Dokja observes that his attribute is ready to evolve. He goes to find Lee Jihye, but he is noticed by members of the Landlord Alliance, who say that Gong Pildu will offer him a room on the condition that he brings the women of his party along. He brushes them off, saying that he will consider it.
As Kim Dokja leaves them behind, Lee Jihye accosts him, asking him if he knows the danger those men pose to his female party members. He nods and changes the subject, asking to talk to her. She agrees, but first walks back over to a ticket gate, which Yoo Joonghyuk told her to defend. Kim Dokja becomes concerned, knowing that a dangerous hidden dungeon lies beyond the gate, and resolves to end things quickly. He asks Lee Jihye to help him destroy the Landlord Alliance, and when she protests that she has to stay and obey her master, he reminds her that Yoo Joonghyuk protect anyone yesterday. He confirms that she didn't want to kill her friend in the first scenario, and tells her she will regret it if she doesn't help him.
Lee Jihye is disturbed and eventually asks about Kim Dokja's plan. When he explains it to her, she is taken aback, saying she doesn't think it will work. The constellations, including Lee Jihye's sponsor, are interested in his bold plan, and Kim Dokja remarks that all the preparations are complete.[1]
