Episode 7: Chapter 32 - Landlord (5) is the thirty-second chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
Summary[]
Kim Dokja carries Lee Gilyoung forward, using Kim Namwoon's [Blackening] to defend against the monsters. He locates the green zone he was searching for, only to find Yoo Joonghyuk already inside. He is taken aback, knowing that Yoo Joonghyuk wasn't due to find this zone until the fourth regression, but has to drop the matter. Yoo Joonghyuk refuses to vacate the 2-person zone for Kim Dokja and Lee Gilyoung, but both men simultaneously ask for Lee Gilyoung to shelter inside. Ignoring the child's distress, Kim Dokja sets him inside proclaiming that he won't die. He pulls out the Specter's Stone and places it in his mouth, activating the Welcome Prison and becoming a 'ghost'.
Under the influence of the Stone, Kim Dokja hears a woman's voice calling to him and sees the dead body of a man with said woman leaning over him. He wills the memory away, distressed, and remembers that the reliving of trauma is why he was reluctant to use the Stone. Another woman begins to call to him, asking if he is Yoo Joonghyuk; she is revealed to be Anna Croft, a prophet from Ways of Survival. When she reacts to Kim Dokja's presence with confusion, he explains that he is the one who sent her the ichthyosaur's core in exchange for Broken Faith. She tries to read him with her skills, but is confused at her inability to do so. Kim Dokja bids her to wait until they meet, at which point [Fourth Wall] activates and she fades.
Dazed by the effect of Welcome Prison, Kim Dokja awakens inside Chungmuro Station, safe among his party. They explain that he has been awake but mentally absent the entire night, he asks where Gilyoung is, only to find Yoo Joonghyuk talking to him some distance away. Yoo Joonghyuk offers for Gilyoung to come with him, but is rejected. Kim Dokja realizes that Lee Gilyoung might've been the one who caught Yoo Joonghyuk's attention the previous day. He tries to read Yoo Joonghyuk's thoughts and hears him muse about completing an "attack", but at that point, Kim Dokja is overcome by his exhaustion and falls back asleep.
Waking up later, Kim Dokja discovers that he is asleep on Lee Hyunsung's thigh, with Lee Gilyoung sleeping half on top of him and Yoo Sangah resting some ways away. He receives coins for surviving the night without a green zone, and messages from the constellations wondering about his past. Ignoring all this, he gets up and informs the wide-awake Jung Heewon that today they will forcibly end Main Scenario 3 altogether by going after the Landlord Alliance.[1]
