Summary[]
A week has passed since the Gourmet Association and Dokja is busy preparing for the Demon King Selection. Jang Hayoung comes to speak to him and he tells her to stop slacking off on her training. He remembers that she came third in the martial arts competition and won the Demon Spirit Bead. She can't eat because it would kill her but Dokja says she can keep it. He buys her three Great Return Pills from the dokkaebi shop which he can now easily afford with all the money he won. Jang Hayoung and Han Myungoh are shocked by Dokja's casual spending of a huge amount of coins. By eating the Great Return Pills Hayoung can consume the Spirit Bead without dying. She eats it and doesn't feel anything different but Dokja says it should take effect the next day.
Han Myungoh notices the X-grade Ferrarigini that Dokja now has and is shocked when Dokja reveals how many coins he made at the banquet. Jang Hayoung asks Dokja is he has a sponsored incarnation and denies wanting to be sponsored by him when he asks. She says she already has a constellation she wants to be sponsored by, named the Demon King of Salvation. Dokja wants to play along and not reveal who he is, but Han Myungoh blurts out Dokja's identity. Jang Hayoung is so embarrassed that she avoids Dokja for two days.
Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja are talking when Namgung Minyoung approaches. Dokja asks her if she's gone to Tartarus yet and she says she hasn't but she has made an appointment with Persephone. Dokja also asks her why she is training Jang Hayoung, still under the belief that she is a man. Minyoung is unimpressed by his ignorance and scolds him for being narrow minded. She tells him about a handsome man she used to know who resembles Jang Hayoung a bit. She says this man was extremely handsome but always rude because he was so small. Dokja realizes who she is talking about but is confused since he thought they were on bad terms. A vortex suddenly appears in the sky, signaling the start of a disaster scenario. The Great Disaster of First Murim is about to begin.
