Landscape of the Demon Realm (2) is the one hundred and ninety-fifth chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
Summary[]
Kim Dokja, without the protection of the Fourth Wall, starts bleeding stories out from his body like blood. The nearby incarnations notice this and panic, scared of the unknown exile. Shortly after, a magical locomotive owned by a demon noble appears, which draws off the attention of the incarnations. Kim Dokja listens in on a conversation the commoners have about the locomotive. One believes it to be a locomotive from the Gilobat Industrial Complex, and remembers a rumor saying that the 73rd Demon Realm was close to having a new Demon King emerge.
Kim Dokja recalls how the current dukes of the Demon Realm would be wary of a new Demon King, as they would be forced to obey them, disrupting the current power structure. However, he affirms to himself the creation of a new demon king as the reason for his presence in the Demon Realm. He suddenly hears a message from the Wenny man advising him to find the Etika Clock Store, a place where he could alleviate the exile penalty. Although he already knew this, he asked the Wenny King for this information as to not attract unnecessary attention and move in accordance to the plausibility.
However, Kim Dokja begins to run out of time, as he could not find the clock store and continues to unravel. Just as he is about to consider asking someone for directions, he bumps into the shoulder of a beautiful young man carrying mechanical parts, who ends up dropping them. Kim Dokja helps him to pick up the parts, but is offput by the boys distinct appearance. Remembering the method Ways of Survival used to describe beautiful characters, Dokja realizes the beautiful boy is one of the people he is looking for.
Meanwhile, in the Etika Clock Shop, the owner Aileen Makerfield nervously confronts two demon nobles inside her shop, Demon Baron Melen and Demon Earl Silocke. One of the demons punches Aileen in the jaw, and Aileen, who was previously visited two times and accepted an offer to help, says that she cannot help the demon nobles anymore. The demons notice a beautiful young man standing at the door of the shop, assault him, and mockingly threaten to take him as a concubine. Additionally, they confirm Aileen's refusal, who knows that her acceptance of the job would mean the death of thousands of civilians. The demons, understanding, then ask for taxes of 50,000 coins, which Aileen was previously exempted from, and threaten to take the boy instead if Aileen cannot pay. However, before Aileen can answer, the door to the shop opens again.
Kim Dokja enters the shop to the caution of the other people. Although the demons try to dissuade Kim Dokja from entering, Kim Dokja claims to be a customer, shakes off the demons, and compliments the clocks on a shelf. He then asks to order "something special," to which Aileen carefully asks the commission fee. Kim Dokja smiles and replies "50,000 coins."
