Episode 4: Chapter 19 - Line of Hypocrisy (4) is the nineteenth chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.

Summary[]

The next morning, Jung Heewon is surprised that Kim Dokja's food has all been sold, though she has concerns over Cheon Inho and the mainstream group buying out the majority and regaining their monopoly. She believed that Kim Dokja wanted to weaken their power; he agrees with her, but says he is pleased all the same since he has earned a large amount of coins from the sales. Jung Heewon is somewhat alarmed at his perceived greed; he ignores this and instructs everyone to eat all the food that they have saved. Once again confused at Yoo Sangah's and the others' automatic trust in him, Jung Heewon leaves aside some of her food and eats the rest.

Cheon Inho announces to the marginalized group that the food rations will be severely limited, with the only ways to receive more food being to become a scout (a position with a high mortality rate) or bartering something "of value" in exchange. He explains this decision as having been inspired by Kim Dokja's words, inciting the marginalized group members to resentment against Kim Dokja. Helpless, the station residents try to buy more food but are discouraged by the high prices.

Jung Heewon points out one of the men selling food and tells Kim Dokja to leave him alone, as he was the one who attempted to rape her and she intends to get revenge. Kim Dokja checks her Attributes Window through Character List and is impressed by her attributes, considering taking her on as a party member. Jung Heewon is enraged when she notices some women from the marginalized group sneaking into the mainstream group's tents, presumably intending to exchange sex for food.

Just then, a timid black-furred dokkaebi appears, commenting on how relaxed everyone seems and letting them know that Bihyung is away, receiving disciplinary action. The dokkaebi claims to have finally come for the incarnations; mistaking this as him intending to aid them, the incarnations clamour for him to give them food. The dokkaebi obligingly adds a scenario penalty that limits stockpiling of food, destroying all existing food stores. The incarnations dissolve into panic as their food disappears. Filled with sadistic glee, the dokkaebi adds a survival cost as well, requiring incarnations to pay 100 coins daily until Main Scenario 2 is cleared.
