Reading Again (3) is the one hundred and seventy-second chapter of Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.
Summary[]
Kim Dokja confronts Lee Sookyung about her actions while she was imprisoned, blurting out in anger about how he had to endure the hardship over the story that she has written regarding the murder, and he had to 'read' his memories over and over again, so much so that he doesn't know if his memories is true anymore. The constellation then sponsored him coins for the dramatic history between him and his mother.
Sookyung probes into Dokja's motivations to change the story from the original novel, and Dokja insist that this is the only way that Yoo Joonghyuk can reach the 'end'. Sookyung is apalled at his incredulous reason, but Dokja explains that 'Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World' is the reason he was able to survive his hardship without her.
They continue to argue until Dokja cut through and ask what she really wants, and she finally revealed that she wants to stop Dokja from getting involved in future scenarios, and she will do the scenarios in his stead. Dokja cannot accept that, and bitterly wonders if she think Dokja will be a hindrance for her, which elicit a sorrowful response from Sookyung. Sookyung then forcefully sealed away Dokja's skill and story after surrounding him with her forces and using the power of her sponsor, the "Founder's Mother" Ungnyeo, in combination with the star relic Eight Beaded Bell.
Dokja wonders the price Sookyung had to pay in order to get the star relic, as Sookyung said she'll let him go once the time is right, before leaving him trapped in the Mechanical Gateway Array along with Han Sooyoung.
Sooyoung asks Dokja if he knew a way out, and he said he has to call a constellation using Ganpyeongui's Echo of the Stars to call the only constellation that are able to get them out; "Goryeo's First Sword" Cheok Jungyeong.
