Summary[]
Kim Dokja is in a room called the "Room of Secrets" as part of a story succession process. In this room, he meets different constellations who offer him various stories to inherit.
The first encounter is with the constellation 'Manu' from Indian mythology, who wants him to accept the "Feast of Resurrection" from <Vedas>. Kim Dokja rejects the offer, asserting his independence. The next encounter is with King Oedipus from <Olympus>, who offers him the story "Lightning Carnival," stating that the three goddesses of fate foresee him inheriting this story in the future. Kim Dokja is unsettled by this revelation. Then, Uriel, representing <Eden>, visits him and offers him the "Messiah's Path." However, accepting this story would mean becoming an eunuch, and Kim Dokja is hesitant. Uriel is distressed by this dilemma but resolves to convince him anyway.
After many constellations visit Kim Dokja during the Story Succession, it is time to announce the results. Various incarnations choose their stories to inherit, and tensions rise as the protagonist realizes that whatever choice he makes will create enemies. He contemplates the unfairness of the relationship between incarnations and constellations. When Yoo Jonghyuk, a powerful figure, takes the stage, Kim Dokja interrupts and declares that they will not inherit any stories but will "buy" them instead to make the game fair. He suggests making deals with their nebula for story acquisition.
